BPS-Statistics Lampung Province is ready to implement the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) in June.
In order to prepare for the implementation of SEP 2024, BPS-Statistics Lampung Province conducted Regional Instructor Training (INDA) activities which were officially opened by the Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, on Monday (5/20/2024).
The opening of the INDA SEP 2024 UTP Training of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province was conducted online through the Learning Management System (LMS) and was attended by various parties, including the Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province Team, Heads of Regency / City BPS in Lampung Province, National Instructors of SEP 2024 UTP BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, and INDA Candidates of SEP 2024 UTP BPS-Statistics Lampung Province.
The 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) is part of a series of activities of the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST 2023) carried out in all regions of Indonesia. SEP is one of the follow-up surveys after the complete enumeration of ST2023.
The main objective of the 2024 SEP is to obtain data on the economic aspects of agricultural business units, including income, expenditure, cost structure, and indicators of the welfare level of agricultural business units. The data obtained from SEP 2024 will be an important material for the preparation of development policies in agriculture and the provision of quality statistical data for data users.
Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, in his speech said that SEP 2024 has an important role in providing accurate and up-to-date data on the economic condition of the agricultural sector in Lampung Province. "Through SEP 2024, we can get a clearer picture of the structure of farm businesses, farmers' income and expenditure, and the level of farmers' welfare in Lampung," said Atas.
Atas Parindungan Lubis hopes that the training participants can follow the training carefully and enthusiastically, so that they can become reliable instructors in guiding SEP 2024 enumerators in the field later. So that field officers will have the same understanding of concepts and definitions and can dig information from respondents patiently to get quality data, said Atas
