Lampung Province's Economic Growth in the First Quarter of 2024 Compared to 2023 Grew by 3.30%

Lampung Province's economic growth in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the first quarter of 2023 grew 3.30 percent annually (y-on-y). However, this figure is considered weaker when compared to the same quarter the previous year which grew 4.94 percent.

In an official release, on Monday (6/5), Head of BPS Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, explained that in terms of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), based on current prices it reached IDR 112.09 trillion and based on constant prices in 2010 it reached IDR 65.95 trillion. trillion.

He said that positive growth was achieved by most business fields with the highest growth being in government administration, defense and mandatory social security which grew by 14.23 percent.

Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries contributed to the Lampung economy by 23.78 percent with growth contracting by 10.97 percent (y-on-y).
