Visit of Aju Team of Lemhannas RI to BPS-Statistitcs Lampung Province

Bandar Lampung, April 22, 2024 - BPS-Statistitcs Lampung Province received a visit from the Aju Team of the National Defense Institute (Lemhannas) of the Republic of Indonesia. This visit aimed to ensure the preparation of BPS-Statistitcs Lampung Province for the Domestic Strategic Study (SSDN) of Lemhannas RI's Regular Education Program (PPRA) LXVI Year 2024.

The Aju Lemhannas RI team led by Budi Sumarsono, Expert Analyst, arrived at BPS-Statistitcs Lampung Province at 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon. They were welcomed by Atas Parlindungan Lubis, Head of BPS-Statistitcs Lampung Province, along with BPS-Statistics staff.

In his speech, Atas warmly welcomed the arrival of the Aju Lemhannas RI Team and revealed that it was the main task and function of BPS-Statistics to support the planning and implementation of public policies. He also explained that the data collected by BPS-Statistics has been presented on the web. "We regularly present data released at the beginning of each month. We are also ready to explain how to interpret the data and interpret the data owned by BPS-Statistics."

Budi, as the leader of the Aju Team, conveyed the purpose of their visit to BPS-Statistitcs Lampung Province. "The visit to BPS on May 13 is in the context of preparing scientific work for PPRA participants who will visit Lampung Province. There will be 25 participants, 2 of whom are from foreign countries, Fiji and Saudi Arabia, as well as 7 assistants and experts." Budi said.

During the visit, the Aju Lemhannas RI Team was invited to see several rooms in BPS-Statistitcs Lampung Province, including the Hall room and Vicon room for monthly data release. They also had the opportunity to discuss with the Public Relations Team and BPS-Statistics Employees of Central Lampung Regency to exchange experiences and knowledge related to general information in Lampung Province.

The visit of Lemhannas RI Aju Team is expected to provide sustainable benefits in development efforts and the preparation of data-based public policies. Collaboration between institutions such as BPS-Statistics and Lemhannas is an important key to realizing the vision of inclusive and sustainable national development.
