The Household Consumption Expenditure Component Contributes 62.34 Percent to the GRDP

Household consumption contributed 62.34 percent to the total GRDP of Lampung Province in 2023. This Figure indicates that the majority of products (goods and services) available in Lampung Province are used to meet the final consumption needs of households. Household Consumption Expenditure includes household expenditures on consumer goods and services such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, health, entertainment, and other daily necessities.

Household consumption expenditure creates demand for various goods and services, both locally produced and imported, thereby driving production activities in various economic sectors. Additionally, it can encourage investors to increase investments in production processes and infrastructure to meet demand, thus creating new job opportunities and enhancing productivity.
